Last night I attended an event for the foundation, Fashion Fights Cancer, where bloggers and women battling cancer came together to make turbans – a stylish choice for women who lose their hair after chemotherapy. Not one to be unprepared, I did a little turban research before the event and found the Prada 2007 Spring show still feeling fresh and chic. While I am all for a minimal turban, the evening ended with feather adorned numbers, lace embellished head pieces and I opted to make a turban out of black and white ribbon trim that turned into a Paul Poiree-esque style, you can view it on instagram. I was happy to be a part of such a wonderful cause and I look forward to attending more Fashion Fights Cancer events in the future.
