A Richard Serra Afternoon

Last week I spent the afternoon in good company, browsing the Gagosian galleries of Chelsea that were consumed by Richard Serra’s new sculptures. The sheer size of the sculptures left a lasting impression on me for the following days. The Inside Out sculpture (copper steel) was endlessly inspiring, discovering a new organic shape with every step I took, I didn’t want to leave.

Inside Out is on view through February 8th and Richard Serra’s other new sculptures are on view through March 15, 2014.
