This year I am all about streamlining my wardrobe, simplifying everything, including my winter scarf of the season. With most of my outerwear falling in the black or navy category, I thought it best to choose a lighter color scarf to brighten things up a bit. “Color” of choice, grey. I fell in love with this oversized Acne Scarf (pictured on the left) and I can’t get it out of my mind. At $150, my current budget doesn’t allow for such a pricey investment (especially when I am saving for a new winter coat this year), so I looked for alternatives… here are my findings!

The fringes are missing from this H&M cashmere version, but the size is right and at a much lower price of $59.95. // The Uniqlo Cashmere scarf for $39.90, (on sale for $29.90) has the fringe but the size is much smaller and ultimately not as warm. I love to wrap my scarf high around my ears so I don’t have to wear a hat.
